Bailey Wolfe
Bailey Wolfe
Intern

Bailey is an Intern at the Warsaw Romine Group, currently pursuing her degree at Grace College. In her role, she assists with bookkeeping and tax-related projects while learning from experienced professionals across the firm. This hands-on experience allows her to connect what she is learning in the classroom to real-world accounting practices.

What Bailey enjoys most about her internship is the opportunity to help clients while continuously learning and developing new skills. Outside of work and school, she enjoys spending time outdoors, playing pickleball, and hiking.

Bailey has enjoyed her time at Warsaw Romine Group because of the team environment and the knowledge shared by everyone in the firm. The real-world experience she has gained, along with the valuable lessons and mentorship from her coworkers, has strengthened her interest in accounting and is helping her prepare for her future career.

Hi, I’m Ben Romine, CPA, E.A., MBA, the CEO of the Romine Group.

I am a devoted Family Man deeply rooted in my community, driven by a passion for helping others and a love for all things related to rural communities, agriculture, and technology. I’ve served on the Columbia City Fire Department as a volunteer for fifteen years; there’s a camaraderie with that team that bleeds out into everything I do and everything that I am. With a strong work ethic instilled in me by my father, I have become a dedicated and independent individual who always strives for excellence. Always.

My work is not just a job; it’s a calling to leave the world a better place for future generations. I am determined to provide my children a brighter future and constantly seek innovative solutions to solve problems and create win-win situations. I can’t argue with that if it sounds like a cliche because it’s true.

In my professional life, I focus on delivering the highest quality of service, especially in helping clients understand their financial numbers. I am committed to assisting clients through every stage of their journey, from the cradle to the grave, to help them achieve their goals and secure their financial well-being.

When it’s all said and done, my legacy will hopefully be defined by the people I’ve had an opportunity to impact; at least, that’s an endeavor worth aiming for.

If anything is worth a conversation, or you’re interested in hearing a great story about this community, I’ve got a few and would love to connect for coffee or a quick call. Schedule one right here.

Blake Nicodemus
Blake Nicodemus
Customer Excellence Coordinator

Blake joined The Romine Group in July 2026, working alongside Tanner's team to keep things running smoothly for clients. Her days include answering calls and emails, helping process tax returns, coordinating document pick-up and invoicing, and finding ways to make things easier and more efficient for clients and CPAs alike.

While she's new to accounting, Blake brings a well-rounded background in management, QuickBooks, payroll, and customer service from past roles at Flow-Tech Plumbing & Heating, Bowen Center, and Huntington County Community Corrections, experience that also taught her the importance of confidentiality when working with people during important moments in their lives. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University West Lafayette, majoring in Law & Society with minors in Psychology and Computer Science.

What Blake enjoys most is helping clients understand the details of their own situation, so they feel informed, empowered, and comfortable working with the firm. She was drawn to The Romine Group because it reminded her of her own family's business, where she worked for six years before making the move, and she immediately recognized the same values and close-knit environment here.

Blake lives in Huntington, IN, with her two daughters, two dogs, and a small herd of cattle. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, gardening, video games, traveling, and church. Fun fact: she used to show horses in Western Pleasure and contesting events.

"Through music, we can live forever."

Growing up in South Whitley and later moving to Columbia City at 18, I've always had a deep passion for music— honestly, it's more like an obsession. I'd offer bonus points if you can pick the artist I quote above.   Even with that confession, my love for music is second only to my love for my three little guys. As a single mom, my days revolve around taking care of them, working, and making sure they’re involved in every sport possible—which keeps us all pretty busy! The third would be sleep, but you can already guess how much of that I don't get (see above).

I’m currently exploring my career path and enjoying my role at The Romine Group. While I'm still deciding whether to complete just my associate's degree or continue further, I'm taking it one step at a time and seeing where life takes me.

In my work, I focus on lightening the load for our CPAs by handling tasks that allow them to concentrate on the bigger picture. I also play a crucial role in improving communication between the office and our clients, ensuring things run smoothly and efficiently.

If you're here because you noticed I'm our number one fan on our social media accounts, let's connect.

Thanks,
Casie

Hi, I’m Emily Lantz.

I was asked to pick a quote that describes me best, and I came up with two. What can I say? I have my moments.

Hello, I’m a native of Columbia City, and for the past decade, this community has been my home. My journey in life has been shaped by my unwavering passion for helping others and simplifying their lives. Beyond the confines of my career, I find joy in discussing my family and expressing my creativity in various ways. My father was an accountant; he started the company I work for today. He was a stoic family man who went above and beyond to serve others. He’s my hero, and I want to honor his legacy.

Presently, I’m diligently working toward the completion of my bachelor’s degree. This path I’m on, it’s a family legacy. While some may say that graphic design wasn’t my calling, accounting has always been my anchor. I thrive on delving into complex financial puzzles and assisting people in resolving challenges that have eluded them.

I’m an accountant by trade, but my role goes beyond just numbers. My work revolves around supporting my big “bro” Ben (Romine, as in Romine Group CPAs), but more importantly, it’s about serving our clients. The relationships I build with our clients are at the heart of what I do. These connections drive me professionally and keep me deeply rooted in my family’s traditions.

Each day, the desire to make life easier for our clients and the link to my father’s legacy brings me back with enthusiasm and purpose. Care to connect? I’ll bring my adding machine and ledger paper. J.K., I’m not that boring.

But if you want to set up some time to talk, book a quick meeting with me here:

Thanks,
Em

Kasey Shock
Customer Excellence Coordinator

Kasey joined the firm in January and serves as the front desk presence at the Warsaw office, greeting clients and handling administrative tasks like answering phones, filing, and scheduling appointments. What she enjoys most about her role is being the first friendly face clients see when they walk through the door.

Kasey brings 10 years of customer service experience, including time at two different government offices, along with four years of experience as a paraprofessional.

Kasey lives in Etna Green, IN. She and her husband have been married for 15 years and have five kids, who keep her plenty busy. She enjoys camping as a family and can often be found cheering on her kids at their sporting events. She's also involved in her children's school, substitute teaching and volunteering with the PTO.

Fun Fact: For many years, Kasey has made her kids' Halloween costumes by hand, and they've won more than a few costume contests along the way.

Kasey loves the friendly, family atmosphere at the firm, and the fact that clients are known by name (she's still working on learning everyone's).

Michelle genuinely enjoys getting to know the people she works with. She loves hearing their stories and helping them work through their questions and concerns, whatever those might be.

She chose to stay at The Romine Group because it's a small-town family business, and she gets the added bonus of working alongside her own sister and brother.

..”And maybe — I don’t know — maybe we’ll learn to play this game like men.” ~Coach Boone, Remember the Titans.

Hi, I’m Tanner Roberson, CPA, an accountant with The Romine Group.

I’m a passionate Notre Dame Football Fan first and a sports junkie second. I’m the person who thrives on the thrill of competition and the camaraderie that comes with being a fanatic. But beyond my love for the game, I’m a perpetual learner, always on the lookout to build my knowledge and glean insights from those I surround myself with.

My loyalty extends far beyond the field. I’m a “social guy” devoted to my family and friends and the connections I’ve been lucky to build over the years.

In my professional life, I’m not just crunching numbers and doing financials for people. I see myself as a financial growth partner, always striving to provide value to my clients. I aim to help them build financial wealth while fostering enduring relationships that stand the test of time. Versatility is my strong suit in the financial industry. I’m determined to be a community leader, positively impacting wherever I go.

When it comes to helping my clients, I have a two-fold mission. First, I work tirelessly to maximize their financial wealth while minimizing tax liability, ensuring they keep more of what they earn. Second, I excel at managing client relationships, knowing that trust and communication are the cornerstones of success in the financial world. With a knack for navigating complex tax matters, I’m your go-to expert in all things financial.

So, whether you’re a fellow sports enthusiast, a potential client seeking financial guidance, or want to discuss the strategy behind putting the game on the line with three seconds left on the clock and a man short on defense (sorry, too soon and too specific), maybe there is something worth a conversation, and we should connect.
