Firstly, let’s talk about deadlines:

We kindly request that you provide us with your essential data by February 16th. This timeline ensures that we can effectively file your taxes by March 1st. We understand that sometimes brokerage statements may arrive slower than expected. However, if you find yourself missing just a few pieces of information, don’t hesitate to bring in whatever you have. It’s far more manageable for us to incorporate one or two additional documents than to scramble to compile your entire tax return at the eleventh hour.

This message specifically applies to those of you whose livelihoods are deeply rooted in farming. If at least two-thirds of your gross income comes from farming and you opt to settle all your taxes by March 1st, this reminder is especially pertinent to you.
